A Note From Jacquelynn

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Sanford, North Carolina. A social worker at heart, I earned a Bachelors in Social Work from Shaw University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health.

I work within a humanistic approach & an eclectic framework using multiple models of therapy and interventions, sometimes more than one at a time. I approach treatment with a trauma informed lens, meaning I work in a way that presumes most people have experienced at least some sort of traumatic event, having some effect on the presentation of your symptoms.

Therapy's a partnership, offering unconditional positive regard, support, education, & guidance. I work hard to create a level of comfort for you to let your freak fly & say the quiet parts out loud. Somewhere there is a past you, overflowing with so much pride looking at how far you've come. And I’ll be right there with you, cheering (loudly) the whole way.
